  1. Visit the National Video Game Museum
  2. Learn the history of video games at the National Video Game Museum. Here, you can step back in time to play retro favorites like Pac-Man and Donkey Kong in an 80s arcade. You’ll also find exhibits of early consoles like the Magnavox Odyssey, the first home video game console.

You can even throw a birthday bash for your kids at the museum. Their private party room can host 30 to 40 guests, and everyone will be given free arcade tokens.

They also offer science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) classes for learners of all ages.

  3. Go to the Dallas Zoo
  4. Your kids will enjoy a day with cheetahs, lemurs, penguins, and other exotic animals that call the Dallas Zoo home. You’ll also find several life- sized animatronic dinosaurs in strategic areas of the zoo.

The Dallas Zoo is the oldest establishment of its kind in Texas, having opened in 1888. It hosts seasonal events like Penguin Days, Safari Nights Concert Series, Halloweekend, and Dallas Zoo Lights.

Take a break from all the walking at Prime Meridian Café, where amazing food awaits hungry zoo visitors.
